Kitty Lou Shoemaker

Kitty Lou Shoemaker, age 81 of Hamilton, passed away at Kettering Hospital Hamilton on Monday, August 5, 2024. Kitty was born in Winchester, Kentucky on December 15, 1942 to the late Sterling Baker and Edith (Howard) Hall. Kitty completed her religious studies at Immanuel Institute at Immanuel Baptist Church in Corbin, Kentucky and earned her Doctorate of Divinity. She worked as an equipment technician at the Fernald Site for many years. Kitty will be dearly missed by her children, Jill Shoemaker and Russell Shoemaker; her grandson, Daniel; her brothers, Jimmy Baker and Gary Hall; as well as many extended family members and friends. Kitty was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Shoemaker. Services will be private and held by the family at a later date.
