LaMar Tudor, age 81 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Saturday, September 22, 2018. He was born in Nicholasville, Kentucky on April 23, 1937 the son of Jesse and Jewell (English) Tudor. LaMar was a veteran of the United States Navy from 1957 to 1959. He was employed at Brown Dawson Funeral Home prior to relocating to Las Vegas where he was employed as a casino host for the Four Queens and the Imperial Palace for thirty years, retiring in 2003. On July 11, 1959 in Hamilton he married Gayla Epperson and she preceded him in death in 2003 and then on May 19, 2007 in Hamilton he married Juanita (Jones) Hurst. LaMar enjoyed playing golf and had numerous friends at Potter’s Golf Course, where he played in many card games. While in Las Vegas he made numerous friends from Hawaii and his golfing buddies were Louis Prima and Robert Donner. LaMar is survived by his wife, Juanita Tudor; devoted friends, George "Bud" and Marie Brown; numerous friends in Hamilton and Las Vegas; and his loving dog, Spiv. He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving dogs, Jigs, McGregor, and Maggie.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 5:00 PM until the time of memorial service at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Hamilton, 1010 Eaton Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
