Larry Michael Hampton

Larry Michael Hampton, age 75 of Hamilton, passed away at Hawthorn Glen Nursing Center on Thursday, October 19, 2017. Larry was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 12, 1942 to Amos and Ruby (Frith) Hampton. Larry grew up on a farm, later raising his own family on a farm as well. He worked at Fisher Body, Foundations by Mike, was a truck driver, and owned Country Fresh Pizza in New Miami. Larry was a loving and caring father. He set a great example by his hard work ethic and dedication to his wife and kids. Larry was a God fearing man and guiding his family to look towards the final authority, God, through the KJV 1611.

Larry is survived by his children, Randy Charleville, Kevin (Michelle) Hampton, Shawn (Susan) Hampton, Chad Hampton, Scott Hampton, Tammy (Shane) Garrett, Eric (Erin) Hampton, and Teresa (Bill) Barkley; his wife, Phyllis (nee Bunger) Hampton; his grandchildren, Ryan, Danielle, Victoria, Drew, Zachary, Elisha, Lillian, Gracie, Austin, Ashton, Devon, Shane, Danielle, Libby, and Joseph; his 9 great grandchildren and one on the way; his siblings, Connie (Dick) Cunningham; and many other loving family members and friends. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; his sons, Curt (Missy) Hampton and Larry Todd Hampton, and his sister, Jody.

Visitation will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Service will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home with Rev. Wendell Coning officating.
