Larry Henry Messer

Larry Henry Messer, age 64 of Hamilton, passed away at his residence on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 7:50AM. He was born in Hamilton on May 8, 1949 to Henry and Pearl (Arvin) Messer. He was a chaplain of AMVETS Post #2. He loved playing darts, and fishing. On June 12th, 1990 in Hamilton he married Kathleen Harris.

He is survived by his wife Kathleen Messer, of Hamilton, six children, Pamela Tapia, JoAnna Lesso, Scott Mobley, Andrew Bauer, Angel Messer, and Larry Stephen Messer; one sister Evelyn Hatfield, one brother Tom Messer; grandchildren, James, Ashley, Melissa, Jose, Michael, Samantha, Christopher, Gabriella, Eric, and DJ; and great grandchildren, Alaya, Konnor, Jackson, and Gabriel. He was preceded in death by one son Kenneth Paul Messer, his parents, one sister Darlene, and his great grandson Kameron.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home 330 Pershing Ave., on Friday, September 13th, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Darrell Kilburn officiating. Burial will follow at Fairhaven Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday September 12th, 2013 from 5PM-8PM at the funeral home.
