Larry Elliott Roberts

Larry Elliott Roberts, age 74 of Camden, passed away at Bethesda North Hospital on Friday, August 2, 2024. Larry was born in Nicholasville, Kentucky on May 29, 1950 to the late William and Elsie (Brooks) Roberts. Larry graduated from Garfield High School and spent most of his life in Hamilton. He was a union carpenter and worked for the Journal News and U.S. Postal Service. In retirement, Larry is best known as being a friendly neighbor that waved at everybody. Larry enjoyed sitting on the front porch, telling stories, and listening to music of a bygone era, but above all, Larry loved spending time with his family – especially the grandkids.

Larry will be dearly missed by his sons, Jeremy (Tonya) Roberts and Brendan (René) Roberts; his grandchildren, Brandon, Rachel, Cassidy (Shane), Jacob, Lexi (Jacob), Katie, Libby, and Allie; his great-grandson, Ja’Kobe; as well as many extended family members and dear friends.

Larry is preceded in death by his wife, Karen (Jacquemin) Roberts.

A celebration of Larry’s life will be held at a later date.
