Larry Smallwood, age 91 of Hamilton, passed away at Berkeley Square Rehabilitation Center on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. Larry was born in Manchester, Kentucky on September 21, 1934 to Joseph and Sarah Ely Smallwood. He served in the United States Army. On February 10, 1961, he married the love of his life, Rita Weidle. Larry was a tool & die maker for 15 years before successfully owning and operating Westside TV Sales and Service Shop and R&L Electronics. He enjoyed going to the casino, playing the banjo, and was an active Ham radio operator.
Larry is survived by his wife of 65 years, Rita Smallwood; his son, Troy (Shawna) Smallwood; his granddaughter, Kristen (Bobby) Fortune; and nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Roger Smallwood; his grandson, Trey Smallwood; and his siblings, I.V. Smallwood, O.B. Smallwood, A.D. Smallwood, Herman Smallwood, Myrtle Hollin and Mae Gray.
Graveside service will be held at Millville Cemetery, 2289 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, January 5, 2026 at 1:30 PM with burial to follow.
