Larry "Fat Dog" Wagers, age 55 of Hamilton passed away in Mercy Hospital Clermont, on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 2:56 PM. He was born in Hamilton on July 14, 1952, the son of Eness and Pauline (Settles) Wagers. Larry was a 1971 graduate of Ross High School, was a Kentucky Colonel and had a great love of music and his Indian heritage.
He is survived by his mother, Pauline Wagers of Hamilton; two brothers, Paul Wagers and Thomas (Kate) Wagers both of Hamilton; two sisters, Rachel (Pat) Donnelly of Oxford and Lela Hall of Fairfield and also numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Bill Wagers; a sister, Anna Louise Wagers and a sister-in-law, Michaela Wagers.
A memorial service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave. on Monday, March 10, 2008 at 7:00 PM with Rev. James Mullins Jr., Pastor of the Calvary Christian Center officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation. Larry was known for his wonderful personality and his great sense of humor. He will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him.
