Laura A. Stacy, age 77 of Cincinnati passed away at her residence on Sunday, July 10, 2011. She was born in Pineville, Kentucky on September 28, 1933 the daughter of Dan and Myrtle (Parton) Senters. In 1953 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana she married Edward "Buggy" Stacy, and he preceded her in death on June 9, 2011.
She is survived by a daughter, Rosemary Carnes of Cincinnati; two brothers, Richard Senters and Joe Senters, both of Barbourville, Kentucky; a sister, Rosetta Senters of Barbourville, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Alicia, Vanessa, and George; and six great-grandchildren, Hailey, Amanda, Kevin, Matthew, Christian, and Cameron. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, James Senters; and a sister, Martha Senters.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 1:00 PM with Laura’s nephew Carl Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
