Laura E. (Rice) Jones

Laura E. Jones, age 70 of Middletown, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022. Laura was born in Hamilton, Ohio on August 4, 1951 to Robert and Cecilia (nee Nistler) Rice. On February 9, 1972, she married the love of her life Richard Wayne Jones Sr. Laura worked at Kohl’s E-Commerce for 15 years. She enjoyed baking, helping others and spending time with her family.

Laura is survived by her husband of 51 years, Richard Wayne Jones Sr.; her son, Richard Wayne Jones Jr.; her grandchildren, Austin Jones, Robert Jones, Russel Jones and Quinten Jones; her sister, Sherry (Tommie) Evans; her sister-in-law, Karla Rice; her friend and neighbor, Lee; and many nieces and nephews. Laura was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Sue Rice, James (Ruth) Rice, William (Aldie) Rice and John Henry Rice.

Burial will be held at Rose Hill Burial Park, 2421 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 10:00 AM.
