Lawrence "Larry" Lykins, age 69 of Milford, passed away at his home on Sunday, December 18, 2016. Larry was born in Hamilton, Ohio on August 19, 1947 to Gerald Lykins and Betty (Wilson) Coldiron. Larry was a Garfield High School 1965 alumni. He served 4 years in the United States Navy. On February 6, 1968 he married Marlene Durbin. Larry worked for the United States Post Office for 37 years.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Marlene Lykins; his daughters, Renee (Doug) Dehart and Melissa Lykins; 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and one on the way; and 4 siblings. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his sister.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
