Lawrence G. Milillo

Lawrence G. Milillo, age 71 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Sunday, September 10, 2017. Larry was born in Hamilton, Ohio on May 16, 1946 to Frank and Betty Jane (Suldovsky) Milillo. Larry was a star athlete throughout his Fairfield High School career (class of ’64), landing him in the headlines of the Sports Page of the Hamilton Journal News "Milillo vs. Hamilton Taft." Larry’s athletic prowess earned him a Capital University football scholarship, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in ‘68. In 2013, he was inducted into the Fairfield Athletic Hall of Fame.

On May 14th, 1977, he married Tommie Lynn Thompson. Together they welcomed their daughter, Linsey, in 1981. Larry worked many years in finance and accounting, retiring from Triton Services Inc. Larry was very proud of his Italian heritage. He loved good food and spending time with his family. Larry was "old school," he loved listening to Bruce, Willie, Johnny, Merle, and Waylan; and also listening to Andrea Bocelli. He loved old cars, and riding on his Harley.

Larry is survived by his wife of 40 years, Tommie Milillo; his daughter, Linsey Milillo; his siblings, Jimmy (Vickie) Milillo, Danny Milillo, Phyllis (Terry) Pfister, and Steve (Gail) Milillo; his fur baby, Mackie, and many other loving family members and friends. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Betty Jane Milillo; his brothers, Phillip Milillo, Christopher Milillo, and Jerry (Shirley) Milillo.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 11:00 AM with David Weekley and Steve Bosse officiating. Interment will follow at St. Stephens Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 18, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Hamilton.
