Lawrence G. Rumpler

Lawrence G. Rumpler, age 70 of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2015. He was born in Hamilton on June 13, 1945 to Raymond and Dorothy (Stock) Rumpler. Lawrence served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed at MISA Metals for over 40 years retiring in 2011. Lawrence was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus #968 and Monkey Mutual Aid Society. He enjoyed bowling, the Cincinnati Reds and Notre Dame football.

He is survived by his wife Janet, children Deanna (Brent Moses) Bell, Sara (Brent) Zellner, Andy (Shelly) Rumpler; Grandchildren Tyler Bell, Zack Bell, Rebecca Zellner, Adam Zellner, Eli Rumpler; one brother Giles (Pam) Rumpler; numerous nieces, nephews and family friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and son in law Leo Bell. The family wishes to thank Dr. Robert Neel from University of Cincinnati Medical Center, Neurology Dept., for his care and compassion.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church, 3028 Pleasant Avenue, on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 10:30 AM with Fr. Larry Tharp officiating. Burial will follow at St. Stephens Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from 5-8 PM with a Knights of Columbus Prayer Service at 7:30 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton.
