Laymon Burns

Laymon Thomas Burns, age 58 of Fairfield, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. He was born in Springdale, Ohio on February 22, 1963 to Laymon Burns and Lois Knox Holland. He loved to play golf and watch sports, especially baseball. Laymon was a system analyst for several companies until he became ill.

Laymon is survived by his mother, Lois Holland; two children, Bradley Thomas Burns and Kristina Lynn Burns; one brother, Terry Lee Knox; and one granddaughter. Laymon was preceded in death by his father, Laymon Burns: his step father, Reuben Holland; and his grandparents, Pleasant Knox and Cora Agnes Knox.

Funeral service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Greenwood Chapel.
