Lee Hamblin, age 92 of Hamilton went home to be with the Lord at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Sunday, June 27, 2010 at 11:40 AM. He was born in Robbins, Tennesee on May 2, 1918 the son of Jesse Ben and Maggie Lee (Williams) Hamblin. Lee was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II from 1944 to 1946 and was employed as a truck driver. On August 14, 1937 in Cincinnati he married Dorothy Pauline Bowerman, and she preceded him in death in 2004.
He is survived by three children, Pat A. (Larry) Lotz of Centerville; Jerry L. (Woody) Wilson and Robert Dale Hamblin, both of Hamilton; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and three sisters.
Funeral services are private at the convenience of the family.
