Leila Croucher

Croucher, Leila Mae (Logsdon) age 94, passed away on August 11, 2016. She was the third daughter of William "Willie" and Viola (Garrett) Logsdon. Leila was born July 11, 1922 in Hamilton, OH and graduated from Hamilton City Schools in 1940. She married Owen H. Croucher on July 18, 1942 and they celebrated 60 years of marriage before he preceded her in death in 2002. Leila retired from Champion International after 30 years in the corporate office and was a volunteer at Ft. Hamilton Hospital and the Reily Township voting polls. Leila was preceded in death by her husband, Owen, her parents, eldest son Rev. Robert Croucher, and her dear daughter-in-law Linda Croucher. She was also preceded by siblings: an infant brother, three sisters, Gertrude Logsdon, Ella (Jonas) Blanton, and Thelma (Chriss) Anglin, three nieces Sharon and Carolyn Anglin, Joanie Apgar and a nephew, Ralph Blanton. She is survived by a sister, Patricia (Robert) Baker, her devoted son Kenneth (Linda) Croucher, and dear daughter-in-law Elaine (Robert) Croucher. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jeffrey (Lisa) Croucher and Kyle (Kari) Croucher and Lynette (Tyler) McKee and her great grandchildren Luke, John, Madison, Hank and Beau Croucher, Clayton Hurst and Dax and Mavrick McKee. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday August 17, 2016 at 4:00PM, with Rev. Alan Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at Reily Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 17, 2016 from 3:00PM-4:00PM at the funeral home.
