Lena Frances Harrison

Lena Frances Harrison, age 81 of Fairfield, passed away at her residence on Friday, March 20, 2015. She was born in Bracken County, Kentucky on November 28, 1933 the daughter of Willard and Nellie (Konkright) Miller. Lena was employed in food service for Fairfield Schools for 20 years. On June 5, 1948 she married James J. Harrison and he preceded her in death in 1994.

She is survived by four daughters, Katherine (Mike) Ferneding of Ross, Linda Joyce Smith of West Chester, Norma June Boyd of Ross, and Wanda L. (Jim) Sorrell of Hamilton; one son, Robert R. Smith of Ross; brother, Stephen (Karen) McClanahan; ten grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by father, Willard Earl Miller, her mother, Nellie Frances McClanahan; two granddaughters, Rebecca Ferneding and Michelle Moore; three great grandchildren; and two siblings, Donald Miller and Helen Parsons.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
