Lena Proctor

Lena Vercilla Proctor passed away on October 9, 2018 Hamilton, OH at the age of 91. She was born in Brodhead, KY on November 26, 1926 to the late Arthur W. and Orla (Ponder) Adams. Lena worked at Goodall, Stearns and Foster and left to be a full-time mother/homemaker. She will be deeply missed by many family members and friends. She was a member of East Hamilton Baptist Church.

Lena leaves behind a son, Larry (Connie) Proctor; a daughter, Debbie (and the late Thomas) Gentry; a sister, Delca Maynus; grandchildren, Kristy Dawn (Kyle) Gantz, Adam Jason Proctor, and Rachel Jane (Chris) Stall; and three great-grandchildren, Kari, Kole and Klay Gantz. Preceding Lena in death are her parents; her husband, Charles of 61 years; her brothers, Herbert, George, Earl and Douglas.

Mrs. Proctor’s funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the funeral home.
