Lena Faye Richardson, age 85 of Hamilton, passed away at The Woodlands of Hamilton on Saturday, June 29, 2024. Known to most as Faye, she was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 11, 1938 to the late Walter Stephen Johnson and Mintie Milbra (Thomas) Johnson.
Together with her husband, Thomas Richardson, Sr., they owned and operated Dick Jones Quality Meats in West Chester from 1990 to 2000. In that time, Faye was also a secretary at Millikin & Fitton Law Firm in Hamilton for 15 years. She was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church until its closing, then became a member of Freedom Baptist Church. Faye loved spending time with her family.
Faye is survived by her children, Thomas Eugene (Robyn) Miller, Jr., Maureen Miller, Russell Steven (Sandy) Miller, Thomas Richardson, Jr., and Donna (Brian) Steavens; her grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew, Joshua, Carrie, Christa, Jennifer, Nicholas, Brooke, April, T.J., Jeffrey, Joe, Kristina, Mike, and Jonathan; her 17 great-grandchildren; her sister, Gladys Honchell; her cousin that was like a sister, Selda Johnson; as well as many extended family members and friends.
Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Richardson, Sr.; her brother, Glen Johnson; and her step-son, Michael Richardson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 from 11:00 AM until the time of her Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio with Pastor Kris Theobald officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery.
