Lenore Bianka Maripuu

Lenore Bianka Maripuu, age 77 of Hamilton passed away at Christ Hospital on Friday, September 4, 2009 after a lengthy illness. She was born in Nickell, Kentucky on June 4, 1932 the daughter of Tinsley and Thelma Walters. Lenore moved to Ohio at the age of five and was a graduate of Verona (Ohio) High School. She was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict from 1950 to 1952. Besides Ohio, she also resided in Los Angeles and Florida. On November 19, 1999 in Plant City, Florida she married Roman Maripuu.

She is survived by her husband, Roman Maripuu of Hamilton; brothers Kenneth Walters of Portland, Indiana and Arthur Walters of Lake Placid, Florida; sisters Millicent (Linford) Houck of Plant City, Florida an Allegra Schlotterbeck of Greenville, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and spouse David Muir.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Linford Houck and Rev. Thomas Vaga officiating. Commital service will be held 2:30 PM Thursday in Miami Valley Memory Gardens in Centerville. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
