Leslie "Lala" Lacroix

Leslie "Lala" LaCroix, age 57 of Hamilton passed away at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at 3:50 PM. She was born in Hamilton on January 3, 1952 the daughter of Lester and Lobeda (Maupin) Robinson. Lala was a member of New Beginning Tabernacle.

She is survived by three children, Gina, Tricia, and Becky; her devoted companion, Tom Conway; her mother, Lobeda Garrett; 6 grandchildren, Lexi, Anthony, Andrew, Jessica, Elijah, and Brittany; a brother, Michael (Doreen) Robinson; seven sisters, LaJuana (Bruce) Brooks, Martha (Edward) Jenkins, Juanita Bowling, Patsy Glidden, Deborah (Tom) Garrett, Missy (Bobby) Bowling, and Sherri Clark; her great-grandmother, Elizabeth Maupin; numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews; and her biggest kids, "her loving dogs." She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, Darrell Garrett; a sister, Toni Marie Robinson; and a brother-in-law, Bud Glidden.

Funeral service will be held at the New Beginning Tabernacle, 2561 Ramona Lane, on Friday, May 15, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Charles Petit officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday after 6pm.
