Lillian Jean Barker

Lillian Jean Barker, age 78 of Middletown, passed away at Sycamore Medical Center on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. Lillian was born in Zag, Kentucky on July 18, 1940 to Elzie and Bethel (Carter) Ferguson. She was a long time member of Pentecostal Highway of Holiness Church. Lillian enjoyed reading her Bible, doing crosswords, gardening, home improvement, and spending time with her family and friends. On November 27, 1959, she married Rondell Barker and together they had three children.

Lillian is survived by her children, Michael (Norma) Barker, Mark (Taria) Barker, Tina Barker; her grandchildren, Ruth (Mike) Siler, Rebecca (Ryan) Brown, Rachel (Zane) Tudor, LeAnn (Luke) Beets, Renae (Sam) Hostetler; her great grandchildren, Averyana, Benjamin, Kennedy, Kaiden, Jackson, Michael, Malcolm, Brooklyn, Lincoln, Isabella, Savannah, and Maxwell; her siblings, Denzil (Judy) Ferguson and Mary Jo (Jeff) Collins; her beloved cat, Pebbles; and numerous other family members and friends. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Rondell Barker; her sister, Lois Saylor; her nephew, Brian Saylor; and her parents.

Funeral service will be held at Pentecostal Highway of Holiness, 3470 Hamilton Middletown Rd, Hamilton, Ohio, on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at 5:00 PM with Rev. Jerry Pascarella officiating. Burial will take place at North Monroe Cemetery on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Pentecostal Highway of Holiness. Memorial contributions can be made to Pentecostal Highway of Holiness.
