Lillian Fallert, age 98 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 11:25 PM. She was born in Hamilton on May 9, 1914 the daughter of Henry and Amelia (Feitch) Stempfley. Lillian was a member of St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church. On February 21, 1933 in Hamilton she married Adrian Fallert, and he preceded her in death in 2003.
She is survived by a son, Ronald (Robin) Fallert of Hamilton; four grandchildren, Donna (Paul) Emerick, Michele (Dennis) Ellington, Diane (John) Proeschel, and David Cornthwaite; seven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Barbara Cornthwaite and Joyce Schanie; three brothers, Gene, Charles, and Bud Stempfley; and two sisters, Marie Pater and Catherine Moore.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 224 Dayton Street, at 11:30 AM on Thursday, March 14, 2013 with Fr. Michael Pucke, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Golden Years Health Care for their care and comfort.
