Lillie Jeanette Goodpaster

Lillie Jeanette Goodpaster, age 88 of Hamilton passed away at Mercy Franciscan at Schroder on Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 4:23 PM. She was born on January 29, 1919 in London, Kentucky the daughter of Isaac Newton and Elizabeth (Boggs) Sturgill. In 1951 in Richmond, Indiana she married William Goodpaster, and he preceded her in death in 1987.

She is survived by a son, Bill Goodpaster of Hamilton; a stepdaughter, Sue (David) Phipps of Hamilton; a sister, Hattie Stone of Hamilton; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Everett "Butch" Fannin.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Burial will follow in Venice Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
