Lillie Fredra Martin

Lillie Fredra Martin, age 88 of Fairfield passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Thursday, March 31, 2011. She was born in Sugar City, Idaho on April 14, 1922 the daughter of Henry C. and Lillie F. (Dale) Roberts. Lillie was the owner/operator of Marti’s Pamper Hut for 23 years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. On May 7, 1941 in Rexburg, ID she married Walter Martin, and he preceded her in death in 1985.

She is survived by three sons, C. Emery (Florence) Martin, Sidney (Penny) Martin, and Rick W. (Dawnette) Martin; a daughter, Karen (Jeffery) Sycamore; a daughter-in-law, Verda Reed; a brother, Clifford Roberts; 16 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Vern W. Martin; a stepson, Woody Reed; two brothers, Jay and Carl Roberts; and three sisters, Mary Adeline Curtis, Eileen Davis, and Faye Roberts.

Funeral service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 4831 Pleasant Ave., on Monday, April 4, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Bishop Wesley Foister officiating. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., on Sunday from 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 4420 Carver Woods Drive, Cinti, OH. 45242.
