Lilly L. Carson

Lilly Leilani “Lani” Carson, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family.

Born in Wahiawa, Oahu, Hawaii, Lani was known for her kind heart, unwavering love for her family, and the joy she brought to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She was the mother of Lester R. Combs (Selena). Lani was the cherished grandmother of David J. Combs (Leanne), Daniel J. Combs (Emily), Brandy N. Combs, and Jacob I. Combs (Mandy). She was also blessed with many great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her tremendous pride and happiness.

She is survived by her brother, Alan Esperas of Mililani, Hawaii, and her sister, Elizabeth Loggins of Las Vegas, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James G. Combs and Robert L. Carson; her sons, Norman R. Combs and Robert “Rusty” Carson; her sister, Judy Ann Esperas, and brothers; Charles, Ed and Herbert.

Lani will be remembered for her unconditional love for her family and the countless lives she touched through her kindness. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her legacy of love will continue through all who knew and loved her.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation, and cremation will take place immediately. Her ashes will be scattered at Haleʻiwa Beach, Oahu, Hawaii, at the family’s convenience.

There is a Celebration of Life Luau on Friday, July 24th at 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Collinsville Community Center, 5113 Huston Road, Collinsville, Ohio 45004. Aloha attire encouraged.
