Linda R. Brown

Linda R. Brown, age 64 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 10:40 AM. She was born in Hamilton on January 27, 1947 the daughter of Charles Raymond and Juanita (Kemplen) McIntosh. Linda was a member of Timberhill Baptist Church. On July 18, 1964 in Hamilton she married James L. Brown.

She is survived by her husband, James L. Brown of Hamilton; a daughter, Amanda (Jason) Mitchum of Hamilton; two brothers, David (Joyce) McIntosh of Hamilton and Robert McIntosh of Harrison; a sister, Paula (Doug) Cordes of Connersville, Indiana; two grandchildren, Samantha and Zachary Mitchum; a goddaughter, Sara Dawn (Kenneth) Fuller of Harlingen, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Carol Hammock.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, June 27, 2011 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Scott Miller, Pastor of Timberhill Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.
