Linda L. Clark

Linda Louise Emenaker Clark, born July 16, 1944, passed away on August 22, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend whose life was centered around her family, her faith, and the joy she found in bringing people together. Linda was born to Raymond L. and Elaine Emenaker and grew up in Hamilton, Ohio. She graduated from St. Joseph Catholic School and Notre Dame High School. Her Catholic faith remained an important part of her life. She was a devoted member and longtime supporter of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hamilton, a parish that held a special place in her heart throughout her life.

On September 14, 1963, Linda married William “Bill” Clark. Together, they built a life and family that Linda cherished deeply. A homemaker, Linda dedicated herself to raising their three beloved sons, William “Scott” Clark, Douglas “Doug” Clark, and James “Jim” Clark. Her family was at the heart of her life, and she took great pride in creating a warm and welcoming home for those she loved. Linda had many interests and especially enjoyed cooking, gardening, and entertaining family and friends. She loved watching sports and was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals, faithfully following her hometown teams through the years. Linda also had a great love and appreciation for the arts and took special joy in attending and supporting live theater. Each year, she purchased tickets to the Broadway series and generously shared that experience with others, treating many family members and friends to performances over the years. For Linda, attending a show was not simply an evening out—it was another way to spend time with the people she cared about and to share something she loved. Of all the seasons, Christmas held a particularly special place in Linda’s heart. She delighted in the traditions, celebrations, and opportunities the holiday brought to gather with the people she loved. Her enjoyment of cooking, entertaining, and making occasions special helped create treasured memories for her family and friends.

Linda is survived by her husband, William R. Clark; her sons, William “Scott” Clark and his wife, Kathy, and Douglas “Doug” Clark; her grandson, Jameson Clark; her brother, Ralph Emenaker and his wife, Linda; her sister, Pat Gundler and her husband Dan; her sister-in-law, Karen Johnson; and brother-in-law Phil Stines, as well as many other beloved family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, James “Jim” Clark; her parents, Raymond L. and Elaine Emenaker; and her sister, Judith “Judy” Stines.

Linda will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her steadfast Catholic faith, her generosity, and the warm and welcoming home she created. Whether gathering loved ones around her table, supporting St. Joseph’s, cheering on the Reds or Bengals, enjoying Broadway performances, or celebrating Christmas with family and friends, Linda found her greatest happiness in sharing the things she loved with the people she loved. Those moments, and the many memories she created through them, will remain a treasured part of her legacy.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 171 Washington Street, Hamilton, Ohio 45011, on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM with Fr. Gerald Haemmerle, Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can made to the Bill and Linda Clark Memorial Foundation at Badin High School, 571 New London Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
