Linda Lou Cox

Linda Lou (Freid) Cox, passed away peacefully at home on April 9, at the age of 61. Linda was born in Hamilton, Ohio on November 12, 1950, the daughter of the late Jacqueline and Jacob Freid, Jr. She graduated from Garfield High School. On November 1, 1968, she was married to Clarence Steven Cox. She and Steve enjoyed riding their Harley motorcycle and taking walks in the park together. Linda was a homemaker for many years and recently accepted Christ into her life on March 11, with Shirley Trantham.

Linda is survived by her husband, Steve; son, Brian (Whitney) Cox; daughter, Angela Sawyer; grandkids, Dylan, Michael, Mersadie and Aryanna Cox and Mariah and Kaylyn Sawyer; mother in law, Marian Cox; siblings, Gloria Bippus, Phyllis (Curtis) Moore, Treva (Warren) Pierce and Chris Freid; sisters in law, Barb (Jack) Fogile, Bev Boggs and Vickie (Garland) Atwood; brother in law, Logan (Ronda) Cox; special niece, Melissa Knox; uncles, Johnny and Tommy Rish; and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Jacqueline and Jacob Freid, Jr. and Jim Rish; father in law, Clarence Cox; grandparents, Beulah and Ancil Profitt, Anna Mae Brunner and Sarah and Jacob Freid, Sr.; aunt and uncle, Earlene and Mark Crouch; nephew, Michael Warren Pierce; and cousins, Penny Harris, David Wayne Osher and E.J. Bishop.

Visitation will be 10am, until time of service (11am), Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue with Pastor Tim Smith officiating.
