Linda K. Croucher

Linda K. Croucher, age 59, of Oxford, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 22, 2009. She was born in Hamilton, on October 6, 1949 the daughter of James B. and Ann (Sams) Stewart. A ’67 graduate of Taft High School, she married Kenneth Croucher on November 20, 1970. Linda was the longtime administrative assistant to Dr. Phil Cagwin, Superintendent of Talawanda School District. She was also an active member of the women’s ministries at the Hamilton Church of God, former 4-H leader and a member of the Ohio Farm Bureau.

A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by her husband Kenneth; two sons, Jeff (Lisa) and Kyle (Kari Cooper); and three grandchildren, Luke, John and Madison, all of Oxford. She is also survived by her father, James B. Stewart of Hamilton; sister, Jan Bollenbach of Oxford; brother, Glenn (Joyce) Stewart of Liberty, IN; sister, Lisa (Jim) Anderson of Monks Corner, SC; mother-in-law, Leila Croucher of Oxford; brother-in-law, Bob (Elaine) Croucher of Oklahoma City, OK; nephews and nieces, Michael Lunsford, Lynette (Tyler) McKee, Deanna Pike, Daniel Anderson, Glenn Stewart Jr., and Blaine Bollenbach; and many other loving relatives and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Downard; father-in-law, Owen Croucher; and step-mother, Gracie Stewart.

Funeral service will be held at the Hamilton Church of God, 1760 Millville Avenue, onThursday, March 26, 2009 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Alan Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at Reily Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hamilton Church of God Scholarship Fund or Hospice of Hamilton.
