Linda Sue Triplett, 78 of Hamilton, OH passed away on October 30, 2025, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Linda raised five children in Hamilton, working at Hyde’s Restaurant for many years as head waitress and made many friends along the way. Linda enjoyed many things in life – as a kid, she loved horseback riding and won many ribbons and trophies. She also loved going to church with her family and grandkids. She enjoyed watching Lifetime with her family and her favorite movie was The Passion of The Christ. Linda loved going to Bingo and singing karaoke with her family, especially with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She loved going to flea markets, camping, hiking, four wheeling and going down home to Kentucky to see family and friends and going to Pat’s Hamburgers with her significant other, Billy Don Begley. Linda was also known as Granny to many kids. She could tell her stories that could always make you laugh and brighten up your day. She will be dearly missed and loved by so many.
Linda was born in Kenton, Kentucky on July 28, 1947 to June Smith and Richard Talbott. She went to William Henry Harrison High School, Class of 1964.
She is survived by five children, Angel & Danny Sexton of Mount Healthy, Tammy & Johnny Gay of Hamilton, Troy Triplett & Debbie Etson of Hamilton, Ona & Charles Arnett of Hamilton, Collette and Terry Arnett of Hamilton; her daughter-in-law, Vicki Triplett of Cincinnati; her grandchildren, Kelly & Danny Taylor of Hamilton, Danny Sexton Jr. of Mount Healthy, John & Lydia Gay of Hamilton, Jeremy & Stephanie Gay of Hamilton, Jaz-Lynn & Jordan Phillips of Trenton, Gary and Fallon Bunger of Hamilton, James Booker of Hamilton, Kendra Sue and RJ Bowman of Hamilton, Brandon and Robyn Arnett of Hamilton; her great-grandchildren; Zoe, Haley, Dorian, Rowan, Magdolyn, Jaelyn Noah, Jay Matthew, Preston, Kynzlee, Kylie, Mason, Jaxton, Jayden, Leeanna Sue, and Jr. of Hamilton; her sister, Laura Retyi-Gazda; Nephew, Vincent Sanders, and her special friends, the Begley Family, Randy Noe and family, Linda Sue Martin and many more.
She is preceded in death by her late husband, Elwood Triplett; mother, June Smith; sister, Cindy Leon; her grandson, Joshua Gay; Great-grandchild, Johnny Elwood Gay; her son-in-law, Gary Bunger; and her special friend, Blanche.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7, 2028 from 11:00 AM until the time of her Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home - Historic Downtown Chapel, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio 45011. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
