Linda L. (Schantz) Washburn

Linda L. (Schantz) Washburn, age 59 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Friday, August 1, 2008. She was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on January 16, 1949 the daughter of Marion T. and Gertrude (Purvis) Crouch. Linda attended Ross schools and was employed as a custodian at Hamilton City Schools for fifteen years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and playing with her dog, Tina.

She is survived by three children, Larry (Paula) Schantz of Hamilton, Teri (Robert) McGill of Oxford and Tim Schantz of Hamilton; four grandchildren, Robyn, Kevin, Emily, and Sarah; her mother, Gertrude Crouch of McGonigle; two brothers, David Crouch of Owensboro, Indiana and Ronald Crouch of McGonigle; and a sister, Patricia Steurer of Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, James Crouch.

Funeral service will be held at the Butler County Memorial Park Chapel on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at 10:30 with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Visitation will be held at the chapel on Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staffs of Hospice of Hamilton and ICU at Ft. Hamilton.
