Linda J. Wheeler

Linda J. Wheeler, age 67 of Hamilton, passed away at Mercy Hospital-Fairfield on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. Linda was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 16, 1956 to the late Donald Stanifer and Frieda Joyce (Stone) Woodward. Linda attended Talawanda High School and worked at Fairfield Center for over 12 years. She also provided home daycare services for many years. Linda was a member of Pentecostal Highway of Holiness Church for many years and was also a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Linda is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, James Wheeler; her children, LaKenta Miles, Athena (Jim) Maly, Jeanetta Wheeler, LaKesha (Ryan) Jones, Jason (Jeni) Evans, and Justin McCoy; her 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Donald W. (Letha) Stanifer, Joe Stanifer, Paul (Billy Downs) Hargis, Gary Shawn (Paula) Woodward; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her siblings, Connie Sullivan, David Stanifer, Regina Stanifer, Donna Gabbard, and Hazel Anne Stanifer; and her son-in-law, Tony Miles. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Bethel Baptist Church, 414 South 11th St., Hamilton, Ohio, 45011 from 11:00 AM until the time of her Funeral Service 12:00 NOON with Rev. James E. Wynn, III officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park in Hamilton, Ohio.
