Linda Sue Winkler

Linda Sue Winkler, age 72 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. Linda was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 14, 1948 to Mildred “Mickey” and Robert Day. Linda graduated from Talawanda High School. On April 29, 1972, she married Dale Winkler. Linda retired from Hamilton City Schools after many years of service. Linda was a faithful member of Bible-Way Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed babysitting her grandbabies and loved watching her children and grandchildren playing sports. Linda cherished the holidays when she would host family gatherings.

Linda is survived by her daughters, Stacy Winkler, Emily Winkler and Melanie (John) Love; her nine grandchildren, Aivry, Korren, Malik, Douglas, Bella, Charlotte, Dalyn, Violet and Junie; her brother, Steve (Rhonda) Day; her sister-in-law, Brenda (the late Robert) Day; several nieces, nephews and precious friends. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 45 years, Dale Winkler; her in-laws, Harold and Bonnie Winkler; her brothers, Robert and John Day; and her nephews, John Michael and Brent Day.

Visitation will be held at Bible-Way Missionary Baptist Church, 1324 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, July 23, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM. Funeral Service to start at 1:30 PM at the church with Pastor Ron Pittman officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Judy (Brian) Daley and Karen (Stan) Reece for their consistent, loving friendships.
