Lisa Maupin, age 50 of Hamilton, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013. She was born in Middletown on December 8, 1962 to David Bursk and Judy (Manning) Day. Lisa was an avid nature lover, and lover of all animals, especially her dogs, Abby and Buster.
She is survived by her son, Eric Maupin (Kristin Pfirrman); a fiance Victor (Buddy) Johnson; a sister, Cindy (Mark) Basford; a brother, David (Dana) Bursk; four step-brothers, Rocky, Scott, Jay, and Kirk (Beth) Day; two nephews, Mike and Gabe; two nieces, Sarah and Rachel; a close friend, Chris Shugart; and loving aunts and uncles . She was preceded in death by her husband, James Maupin; her parents; a step-father, David Day; and grandparents.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 from 1:00 PM until time of service (2PM) at Millville Cemetery, 2289 Millville Avenue. In leiu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Humane Society.
