Lloyd M. Barnes

Lloyd M. Barnes, age 91 of Middletown, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2015. He was born in Butler Co. on December 21, 1924 to Clarence and Esther (Schuler) Barnes. Lloyd was employed at GM-Moraine City and retired in 1977. Lloyd was an antique car and tractor hobbyist and enjoyed traveling, walking, and playing cards.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Norma Barnes, his children, Linda (Jack) Schaefer, Miriam Erhgott, Jerry (Lori) Barnes, Garry (Toni) Barnes, Melvin (Karen) Barnes, Mary (Terry) Brooks, 24 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, his sister-in-law, Mary Barnes, and his brother-in-law, Gene (Juanita) Blakley. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Gene Barnes, his grandson, Brennan, and his in-laws, Bob and Mary Blakley.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at 3PM. Entombment at Butler County Memorial Park on Monday, January 4, 2016 at 11AM. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2016 from 1-3PM at the funeral home.
