Lloyd H Cameron, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, May 18th, at the age of 73. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on Sept. 4, 1938, the son of Harley & Fannie (Bracken) Cameron and brother of Robin (Ronald) Fallert. As a youngster he obtained the rank of Eagle Scout. He proudly served 13 1/2 years in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam veteran. While stationed in Louisiana he met Lessie Lee, his devoted wife of 55 yrs.
From this union came 4 children, Betty (Bob) Parsley, Ricky Cameron (deceased), Bobby (Sherry) Cameron, and Connie (Tony) Webb II. He retired from Armco/AK Steel in 2000 after 30 years of service. Besides enjoying Christmases with his 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, he also enjoyed boating, woodcarving and cooking meals for his family and friends. When asked how he was his reply was always, "Any better I couldn't stand it." He will forever be remembered, missed and loved.
Our family extends deep appreciation and thanks to Dr. Lang and his staff. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Cinc. North Homecare Team. Private funeral services will be held Tues. followed by friends and family at home.
