Lloyd Downs, age 89 of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on October 23, 1925 to Robert and Bertha (Spencer) Downs. Lloyd served our county in the United States Army, serving from 1944-1946. He worked for Fisher Body for over 37 years and retired in 1986. Lloyd was a member of the UAW 233 and the Breiel Church of God.
He is survived by his brothers Ray (Ruth) Downs, Virgil (Anna) Downs and Robert (Sylvia) Downs Jr., and numerous nieces, nephews and family members. He was preceeded in death by his parents, wife Martha, brothers Paul Downs and Walter Downs and sister Pauline Barker.
Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 10-11 AM at the funeral home.
