Lloyd DeWayne "Wayne" Rose, age 80 of Hamilton, passed away at Woodlands of Hamilton on Tuesday, May 30, 2017. Wayne was born in Clay City, Kentucky on January 1, 1937 to Kelly Rose and Bell Elizabeth Rose Asher. He was a simple man who enjoyed spending time with his family.
Wayne is survived by his children, Donna (Bill) Heitfeld, Debbie (Paul) Adam, David (Shellie) Rose, Kelly (Sean) Harrington; his siblings, Don Rose and Lu (Wayne) Willis; his grandchildren, Patrick, Tiffany, Katie, Rebecca, Marshall, Angie, Brett, CJ, Ethan, and nine great grandchildren with two on the way and a very special friend, Ora Lee Garrett. Wayne was preceded in death by his wife of 24 years, Wanda Rose, his parents, and 6 siblings. The family would like to thank the staff at Woodlands of Hamilton and Hospice of Cincinnati for their wonderful care and support.
Funeral service will be held at Rose Hill Burial Park Chapel, 2421 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mark Garrett officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Rose Hill Burial Park Chapel.
