Lois Grubb

Lois Grubb, 83 of Hamilton gained her angel wings on Friday March 27th, 2015. She was born August 6th, 1931 in Clay County Ky. She lived her life through Christ & taught by example. She enjoyed the simple things in life & surrounded her family with unconditional love. It was evident that she planted a seed in each of children to love one another & to be the best they could be. That legacy has carried on three generations and will continue to impact those to come. Her wants were not for herself but for the well being of all of those she loved. She was an impeccable woman whose selflessness, compassion and love could never be measured. The loss that has been endured is nonperishable here on earth but is a joyful gain in Heaven. She is survived by her children: Dora (Wayne) Napier, Coy (Addie) Grubb, Ken (Marlene) Grubb, Phillip (Cheryl) Grubb and Raleigh Jr (Kathy) Grubb Thirteen Grandchildren Dwight , Shane, Bryan, Marquetta (Kenny), Ashley (Shawn), Phillip, Anthony, Donna, Katie, Daniel, Hope, Donnie and Dorothy , Seventeen great grandchildren Dennis, Cody, Brittany, Austin, Dylan, Maraylen, Kaliyah, Deseray , Charles, Faith Dominick, Makynlee, Quintan, Alonna, Madison, Marlee, Colin. Two Sisters Ida Finley and Lola (David) Lewis. She is preceded in death by her parents Walter & Odessa Byrd, Her son Wilburn, two granddaughters Tiffany and Stephanie and 8 siblings. Special thanks to all of the staff at Butler County Care facility who provided love, support and made her feel at home. Also, Vitas Hospice for being there to provide comfort during her last days. Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 12 Noon with Pastor Brad Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 10-12 Noon at the funeral home.
