Lois Huckleby

Lois Huckleby, age 75 of Hamilton, passed away at her home on Friday, January 10, 2014. She was born in Montgomery County, KY on September 4, 1938 to Chester and Lule Willoughby. On May 19, 1961 she married Thomas L. Huckleby Sr., and they were married for 30 years before his passing in 1992. Lois enjoyed the Coon Hunters Club, and considered them part of her family. She enjoyed being outside and visiting with neighbors and friends.

She is survived by her son, Tommy (Renee) Huckleby; daughter, Terisa (Frank) Couch; grandsons, Benny and Wes Kerr; great-granddaughter, MacKenzie McIntosh; and a sister, Helen (Byrd) Allen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Huckleby; brother, Winnie Willoughby; and her parents.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Buddy Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
