Lonnie E. Howard

Lonnie E. Howard, age 59 of St. Clair Township passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Tuesday, March 22, 2011. He was born in Leslie County, Kentucky on September 9, 1951 the son of Isaac and Mary Elizabeth (Randolph) Howard. Lonnie was the owner/operator of Howard’s Backhoe Service and loved to hunt and fish. On May 20, 1972 in Leslie County, Kentucky he married Paulett Maggard.

He is survived by his wife, Paulett Howard; a daughter, Connie Howard; a son, Lonnie "Digger" Howard; one grandchild, Tegan Howard; twelve brothers and sisters; his in-laws, the Maggard family, especially his mother-in-law, Mavy ; close friend, "Jo Jo"; and a host of other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

A memorial service will be held at Laurel Avenue Church of Christ, 1049 Laurel Avenue, on Friday, March 25, 2011 at 12:00 noon with Charles Anderson officiating. Cremation has been held. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Hospice of Hamilton.
