Loraine Jamison

Loraine Jamison, age 74 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 9:35 PM. She was born in Barbourville, Kentucky on June 8, 1936 the daughter of Lawrence and Millie (Schuler) Ledford. Loraine enjoyed quilting, doll collecting and caring for her grandchildren. In 1992 in Hamilton, she married Lester Jamison.

She is survived by her husband, Lester Jamison of Hamilton; four children, Homer (Carol) Couch of Upland, Indiana, Dave (Debra) Couch of Ross, Loretta (Michael) Holland of Fairfield, and Debbie (Sam) Carley of Oxford; eight grandchildren, Leah (John) Warwick of Indianapolis, Indiana, Matthew and Marcus Couch of Ross, Mike Couch of Upland, Indiana, Alan and Nathan Holland of Fairfield, and Christina and Natalie Carley of Oxford; and four sisters, Margaret Gray, Mary Embry, Mae Mayes, all of Hamilton, and Nollie Racker of Lawrenceburg, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, John, Roy, William, and Henry Ledford; and two sisters, Cledia McBee and Christine Wagers.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 12:00 noon with Minister Linda Roark officiating. Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice of Cincinnati for all their care and support.
