Lorene Ann Bernosky, age 63 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Friday, December 18, 2009 at 4:43 AM. She was born in Hamilton on February 17, 1946 the daughter of Clyde and Alma (Brewer) Singleton. Lorene was employed as an inventory clerk at Fernald for 15 years, retiring in 2002. She was a member of the Moose Lodge. On December 22, 1995 she married Edward J. Bernosky.
She is survived by her husband, Edward J. Bernosky of Hamilton; two children, Cathy (Kevin) Brandenburg and Shane (Amy) Stacy, both of Hamilton; four grandchildren, Ashley Shope, Matthew Shope, Shana Brandenburg, and Jolie Stacy; a great-granddaughter, Bree; five brothers, Thomas Singleton, Blaine (Joan) Singleton, Gary (Doris) Singleton, all of Hamilton, Gerald (Rose) Singleton of Versailles, Indiana, and Brian Singleton of Richmond, Indiana; four sisters, Cheryl (Charles) Wyatt of Camden, Kimberly (Ronnie) Couch of Trenton, Cindy Howard of Hamilton, and Lucille Singleton of Oak Ridge, Tennessee; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Paula Stacy; and sister, Shirley Lydic.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
