Lorene K. Daudistel

Lorene K. Daudistel, age 84 of Hamilton passed away at Christ Hospital, Cincinnati, on Sunday, July 25, 2010. She was born in Oxford on March 20, 1926, the daughter of Richard L. and Dorothy (Lithman) Schwegman. Lorene was employed as an R.N. for Mercy Hospital, Dr. Ralph Leyrer, and Butler County Care Facility. She was a member of St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church. In 1948 she married Robert L. Kleinfelder, and he preceded her in death in 1969; in 1978 she married Warren W. Daudistel, and he preceded her in death in 1991.

She is survived by a son, Dr. James S. (Jane) Kleinfelder of Cincinnati; eight grandchildren, Megan (Joe) Roach, Michael (Katie) Kleinfelder, Amy Kleinfelder, Allison (Nick) Andrews, Sarah (Garry) Schloemer, Zachary Kleinfelder, Caitlin Kleinfelder, and James Kleinfelder; five great-grandchildren, Morgan, Max, Madeline, Riley, and Sophie; four brothers, Walter (Joan) Schwegman of Florida, Omer (the late Betty) Schwegman, Ralph (Jacque) Schwegman and Richard (Phyllis) Schwegman, all of Oxford; four sisters, Rita (the late Howard) Cox of Hamilton, Mary (William) Thomas, Ruth (James) Smith, and Alice (Donald) Krauth, all of Oxford; and a sister-in-law, Ethel Schwegman of Oxford. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; a brother, Harold Schwegman; and a sister, Regina Durbin.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church, 382 Liberty Avenue, on Friday, July 30, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Fr. Kenneth Schroeder and Fr. Ronald Haft as co-celebrants. Burial will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Memorials may be made to Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing.
