Lorene E. Gresham

Lorene E. Gresham, age 77 of New Miami passed away at Hospice of Hamilton at Sunrise on Friday, June 15, 2007 at 9:53 PM. She was born in London, Kentucky on August 29, 1929 the daughter of Veltie and Lillie Mae (Mullins) Parman. Lorene was employed as a floor leader at Worthing Industries for 27 years, retiring in 1994. She was a member of Amvets Post #1983 and Eagles Lodge #407. On August 18, 1948 in London, Kentucky she married Travis O. Gresham, and he preceded her in death in 1984.

She is survived by two sons, Raymond Gresham of Trenton and Rick (Jackie) Gresham of New Miami; two daughters, Mary Gresham of Fairfield and Anita Schuler of New Miami; twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; four brothers, Sam (Mabel) Parman of Fairfield, Russell (Ruth) Parman, Willard (Delia) Parman, and Oscar (Sandy) Parman, all of London, Kentucky; three sisters, Juanita Tipton of Fairfield, Bonnie (Bill) Brunner and Ruth (Benny) Pennington, both of London, Kentucky; lifelong friend, Ruby Fields; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ryan Gresham; a daughter, Dorothy Gresham; a brother, Charles Parman; and three sisters, Mae Schell, Sybil Davidson, and Mabel Knapp.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at 1:00 PM with Lorene’s granddaughter, Leesa Marie Lance, officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
