Loretta M. Rezac

Loretta M. Rezac, age 89 of Hamilton, passed away at Westover Retirement Community on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 5:44 AM. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 27, 1925 the daughter of George and Elizabeth Mraz. Loretta was employed by Butler County for 15 years, retiring in 1990. She was a member of St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church. On August 30, 1946 in Cleveland she married Edward Rezac and he preceded her in death in 1998.

Loretta loved football and was a lifelong fan of the Bengals and Browns; she enjoyed gardening and working in her yard; was an avid reader and enjoyed time with her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She was affectionately referred to as "Mama" by her grandchildren and she will be dearly missed.

She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Hurst of Hamilton and Debbie Brandner of South Carolina; five grandchildren, Kate (Brian) Rudd, Emily (Justin) Hoover, Josh (Ashley) Brandner, Jason (Kellie) Brandner, Scott (Kelly)Brandner; five great grandchildren, Nolan, Heath, Zach, Anna, and Ainsley; and special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Florence Gapp, George Mraz and Betty Richardson.

Private service will be held at the convenience of the family. The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Westover and Crossroads Hospice for all their care and support.
