Lori F. Harris

Lori F. Harris, age 48 of Hamilton passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at 11:21 AM. She was born in Hamilton on September 15, 1959 the daughter of Robert and Patricia (Ryan) Collopy. On October 27, 1989 in Hamilton she was married to Darrell Harris.

She is survived by her husband, Darrell Harris; four children, Aaron (Sally) Meadows, Crystal (Logan) Henson, Cheryl Harris, and Tiffany Meadows; her mother, Patricia Collopy; three brothers, Robert (Sheila) Collopy, John (Robyn) Collopy, and Steve (Carol) Collopy; five sisters, Pam Smith, Linda (Ladd) Shockey, Amy (Donald) Witt, Ginger Harris, and Tina (George) Collopy-Kirby; five grandchildren, Denielle, Tyler, Lyla, Kelsie, and James; her mother- and father-in-law, Abbie and Lloyd Harris; a brother-in-law, Ben Asher; a sister-in-law, Diane (James) Wells; a loving relative, Vina Crawford; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father; one son, Michael Meadows; two sisters, Mary Kay Asher and Terri Collopy; a brother, David Collopy; and a granddaughter, Jade Henson.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Russell Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in New London Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Through our grieving and sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that there was no place Lori would rather be than with her family. Although we will always want her back here with us, we know now that she finally gets to hold her granddaughter again. This will be the only peace we find in losing our Lori. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lori Harris Memorial Fund at Somerville National Bank, 75 N. Brookwood Avenue, Hamilton 45013.
