Loris Nantz

Loris Nantz, age 87 of Hamilton, went home to be with the Lord at Hospice of Hamilton on Friday, December 1, 2017. Loris was born in Jackson County, KY on September 6, 1930 to Jesse and Zona (nee Riley) Moore. On July 26, 1948, she married John W. Nantz, who preceded her in death after 67 years of marriage. Loris retired from Miami University of Oxford in 1990. She was a faithful member of the Bible-Way Missionary Church for 36 years.

Loris is survived by her children, Patty Zeller, Bill (Debra) Nantz, and Ed (Marcia) Nantz; her 8 grandchildren, Kristina (Ken) Lyttle, Melanie Davenport, Brian (Candice) Nantz, Alicia (Ryan) Estes, Amy Nantz, Jennifer Reece, Jessica (Rick) Kolde, and Courtney (Joe) Haker; 26 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; her sister, Joyce (Leo) Tincher, her sister in laws, Bertha Moore and Jo Moore; her caregiver, Angela Hollon; and many other loving family members and friends. Loris was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son in law, Pastor Terry Zeller; her grandson, Timmy Zeller; and her brothers, Charles (Rose), Robert, Vernon (Charlotte), Dave, Paul, and Gerald Moore.

Funeral service will be held at Bible-Way Missionary Baptist Church, 1324 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, December 4, 2017 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Ron Pittman officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 4, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Bible-Way Missionary Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Bible-Way Missionary Baptist Church or Hospice of Hamilton.
