Lorraine Robinson

Lorraine Robinson, age 89 of Hamilton, passed away at her residence on Monday, May 27, 2013 at 8:54AM. She was born in Harlan Co., KY on August 3, 1923 to Charles and Louanna (Skidmore) Fee. On May 28, 1943 in Hamilton, she married Charles Gilbert Robinson, and he preceded her in death in 2002. Lorraine had a gentle spirit and a deep love for her family and the Lord. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, and loved being outdoors. She was also member of Word of Life Church. Lorraine will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by two daughters; Phyllis (David) Johnson, of Hamilton,Patty (Gary) Maupin, also of Hamilton; four grandchildren, Tonja (Tom) Curry of Ross, Kelly (Jim) Ring of Hamilton, Shawn Johnson of Hamilton, and Misty (James) McKinney of Hamilton; eight great-grandchildren, Zak, Cody, Colton, Sydney, Hannah, Emma, Sophie, and Dylan; and two sisters, Wilma Coates of Hamilton, and Thelma Eaton of Corbin, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Donald Fee, and Bobby Fee; and one sister Lucille Setser.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday May 31st 2013 at 12noon with Pastor Shawn Johnson of Word of Life Church officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10AM-12noon at the funeral home. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Myrtle Hous, her caregiver for the past year of Lorraine’s life, also to Marcie and the entire Hospice organization.
