Lottie R. Chirco

Lottie R. Chirco, age 94 of Cincinnati passed away at Doverwood Health Care on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 10:45 PM. She was born in London, Kentucky on February 1, 1917 the daughter of Elic and Mary (Johnson) Cook. On July 11, 1933 in Cincinnati she married John Chirco, and he preceded her in death in 1977.

She is survived by her former sister-in-law, Joyce Cook Pierce; a good friend, David Smith; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Theodore, Gerald, and Andrew Cook; and three sisters, Lola Bell, Goldie Miller, and Gretchen Hicks.

Visitation will be 10am until time of service (11am), Monday, January 9, 2012, at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, with Rev. Cecil Day officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed Lighthouse Baptist Church, 2047 Tuley Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45015. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Doverwood Health Care for their loving care of Lottie for almost 4 years. Also, special thank you to Dr. Pawel Szczykutowicz and Southwestern Ohio Hospice for their care and concern.
